Goodbye Yokohama & Hello Disorientation….

To say that we are disoriented would be an understatement. What day is it? How long have we been traveling? We just realized that we’ve been on the MS Westerdam for a week and had started traveling four days prior to boarding. Now, we’re at sea for a day between ports and are trying to catch up with photos, journaling, and this blog.

We didn’t get enough of Yokohama and Tokyo before we left and are happy that we will land there twice more before turning east toward Alaska. While there are a multitude of sights in Yokohama, we were really taken with its Chinatown and will return here for many hours of exploration.

In the meantime, we will try to keep an eye on the elevator rugs so we know which day it is…

About rkcaton

We like to travel and even spent nine years roaming around North America in a 40 foot motorhome. We're now back in a home in Washington state roaming by car, air, and boat.

Sounds like you’re having a fabulous trip so far. Glad we’re not the only ones who aren’t always entirely certain what day it is, LOL.

Love the architecture and art there! Also love the idea about the day-of-the-week rugs. It totally makes since for travelers!
